What is the ETE for?
This is the official document certifying the technical suitability of a construction product for a specific use within the European market. It is used to assess and verify construction products not fully covered by European Union harmonized standards.
Recense’s PDP Pillar Feet have ETA 22/0668. This ETA is based on European guide EAD 200102-00-0302, which indicates the tests to be performed on the system and the method for calculating the connection to ensure resistance to tension, shear, bending, and stiffness.
Recense’s PAC short anchor bolts have ETA 21/0899 based on European guide 330924-00-0601.
Can this system be used on different pillar sections?

Can it be considered a rigid connection?
Yes, the unions with Feet of Pilar de Recense can be considered completely rigid. This parameter has been measured by specific tests following the guidelines of the EAD 2001102-00-0302 guide on which the ETA is based.
Can it be used when there are section changes in the pillars?
The variation in section between pillars is not a problem when using this system. The only thing that will vary will be the number of pillar feet, since varying the section can increase or decrease the need for elements.
