The ThermoPin is used to connect the outer layer (liner) and the inner layer (support) of precast concrete elements with core insulation.
Thanks to the cap, the rod slides easily into the concrete, allowing for quick and efficient installation. Furthermore, the sleeve itself guarantees proper installation, ensuring that the penetration point in the insulation is closed, thus eliminating the rod from the concrete and creating a completely smooth surface.
ThermoPin bars are provided with conical flares at the ends to increase tear resistance.
Thanks to the glass fibers located along the axis of the bar, a particularly high tensile strength is achieved.

Maximum panel thickness needed to use this system?

How many Thermopins should be placed per unit area? How should they be aligned?

Does the ThermoPin system guarantee thermal bridge breaking?

The ThermoPin is specifically designed to minimize thermal bridges in precast concrete panel construction.

Because it is made of fiberglass reinforced plastic materials, it has a very low thermal conductivity, which reduces heat transfer between the outer and inner layers of the concrete panel. Therefore, the answer is YES.

Is it valid for any type of insulation?
